Located at the foot of a Volcano in Nicaragua, Granada was the first city founded in Central America by Spanish colonists. Five years later, in 1529, this Convent and Church of San Francisco was built. It was destroyed and rebuilt three times throughout the country's turbulent political history. I love how the painted facade blends almost perfectly with the sky.
